PLC 1513 yellow(on) red(flashing) yellow(flashing) error

abacimahmut Member Joined: 8/17/2022 Last visit: 1/5/2024 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I have a PLC model of 1513. And I cannot connect it to my PC. When I try it, I’ll have an Red title FAULT on PLC screen. And also three led is lightening like yellow(on) red(flashing) yellow(flashing). Could you help me please? thank you so much.

itafusna Silver Member Joined: 2/17/2020 Last visit: 9/6/2024 Posts: 1047 Rating: (190)	Hi, If all CPU LEDs are flashing, I would recommend: 1. Reinstall or update CPU firmware. Since you cannot communicate with the device, you can only do so using a SIMATIC Memory Card configured for it. 2. If that doesn't work, reset the S7-1500 to factory defaults and check if you can communicate with it afterwards. 3. If you still cannot communicate, please check if the communication port LED flashes when connecting a PN/DP cable. If it doesn't flash either, I'm afraid the S7-1500 boot file is damaged and it would be wise to send the CPU in for repair.

In this case I would try to perform a FW update and factory reset. If that is not possible, I would say that there is an internal HW issue. Br, Cocolino

Can I upload firmware to SIMATIC memory card? How can I do it? (When I unplugged backplane bus, everything is fine, I can connect my PLC)
