Hi, I decide to go the other way around: I've configured windows that is running the HMI (windows 7) to sync it's time with the NTP server. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816042 The HMI syncs it's time with windows. Using the Date/time pointer and configuring the HMI and plc like in the link below: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=24104104&caller=view Option 1 - Synchronization without "Date/Time PLC" area pointer In the PLC i'm using the SFC1 function to set the date and time from HMI. So far it's working pretty good. |
