Please Help me interpret this guys!!!

Just_Me Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Good day everyone!!! I'm just wondering if you guyz could lend me a hand on this one... Please help me interpret this STL program. I understand the LAD program but for STL, i'm still learning how to understand the commands. This is a timer program. This STL program is actually an FC called by another FC. I was able to understand the one that called this STL because it's in LAD language. Please interpret this for me Sir. hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 10/11/2024 Posts: 6852 Rating: (1365)	Dear Just_Me I check all possiblity for missing code.This is my version. check the attachment for an illustrative analysis.When start signal activated,the preset value loads to accum and by each execution of block accum value counts down till zero which indicates waiting time finished.If the block is called in OB35 which is executed each 100ms (as an example), so for 2 second waiting time you need to load 20 in preset value.Note that the type of timer is on-delay in which by deactivating start signal , BR will be false and accum loads a high positive value. So, at first when BR=0, accum is set to 32767. When BR=1, it goes to TIMI for further commands. About the meaning of on-delay, does it means that it will turn on after the preset value?

Dear Just_Me On-delay timer is running when the start is active, after the preset time elapsed the binary output signal will be active. This signal wiil be active till the start signal reset.One application of this timer is to check real trip signal which lasts at least for some seconds because of fake short duration signal due to physical constrains.
