! ! ! Please help with WEB2PLC program

Step # 7 of the WEB2PLC manual instructs the operator to in the HW configuration to doubleclick the CPU 317-2 PN/DP and select the WEB tab. Then it says to Activate the web server and it show a screen of what the options should be (see attached file). The only problem I have is the areas that I have highlighted in green can’t be accessed from my program, they are grayed out. In step 8 of the WEB2PLC program after you select ADD you start adding users. What can I do to gain access to the area highlighted in green?

have you installed the following tools and moduls?

• STEP 7 V5.5 (at least), the actual version is V5.5+SP2
• S7-Web2PLC (is included on the STEP 7 CD and have to installed separatly)
• Internet-Browser
• CPU, which support this function, expample CPU 317-2PN/DP with Firmware V3.2 (at least)

Thank you for your response, I am using Step 7 V5.5 but I am not sure if SP 2 is loaded. The CPU Firmware is at 2.6. I have been successful in compiling the HTML file using WEB2PLC and it has created DB333 and DB334 in my block folder. Can you please provide me with an example on how I would call SFC99 from my SCL OB1 file so I can see the webpage in Internet Explorer.

Hello,

consider, you need the firmware V3.2 which you can download from the internet. Here is an example for calling the system function SFC22 in S7-SCL:

FUNCTION FC10: INT

VAR_TEMP
Error_message: INT;
END_VAR

FC10:= www(CTRL_DB:= DB333, RET_VAL:= Error_message);

END_FUNCTION
