Pole position identification

I performed the pole position identification (P1990=1,P1980=1,P1981=90). But after succesfull executing the procedure, the motor won't start : fault 7900 : blocked, occurs, even when limits for time and torque are set higher. The speed from the resolver is coming in ok, and the motor can rotate in U/F control (P1317=1). Then I started looking at manual adjusting P431.For that I traced r89[0] and r93 while running in U/F. I was told that where the sinus of r89[0] goes from the negative zone to 0, r93 should go from 360->0°. But whatever value I put in P431, the relationship between r89[0] and r93 does not change at all. And whatever value I put in P431, when starting (not in U/F) I keep getting F7900. What could I be doing wrong?

Jeff Casagrande Posts: 1529 Rating: (201)	I had similar symptoms on a 1FT7 motor when the motor leads were reversed. U, V and W must go to their respective terminals. Something to check.

U, V and W must go to their respective terminals. Something to check. In the past I also experienced on 1FT7 or 1FK7 that when the motorleads are reversed that you get F7900 at start of motion. This is Lenze motor with resolver connected to SMC10. I already reversed the speed signal from the resolver (in Starter configuration) because of my past experience. But then the motor started in the other direction at a much higher speed then demanded and it couldn't be stopped with normal OFF1. So I suppose the original polarity is ok. The servomotor can run in U/F, so there may not be any mechanical obstacles. The strange thing is that changing P431 does not change the relationship between r89 and r93.

Jeff Casagrande Posts: 1529 Rating: (201)	I guess this is why I never mix my servo drives and motors. It is usually a bloodbath to make it work. Actually impossible if using Mitsubishi or Yaskawa. Hope someone can chime in that has done this successfully.
