Hey,
I am a student and working on a project, so I have little experience with tia portal.

I work with this
- CPU1214DC / DC / DC
- KTP1200 Basic
- wp231 2x
- sm1221
- sm1222
- 1234

My question is:
Every time I switch off the plug or main shunt and then switch it on again, I have lost all my set values.

it concerns the values of the siwarex and my program (MW, etc.)

Look into using datablocks (DB) as storage. Each tag / variable you declare in the DB has the option marked "retain". 

TIP: The table that appears when declaring tags in the DB does not have all the columns. You need to right click on the column heading and follow the selections to see all the columns.

Or do I have to make a DB for this? if that is the case, I do not know how to do this.

 If you have data in local variables in a FC, the data is not retain. If you use a FB, then the local data inside the FB is retain.

This is just guessing what kind of code you have, with out seeing it.

You can use the tags from the DB just like you would with your M-tags you are using currently. Interestingly enough, those DB generated tags are processed quicker also.

As said by our forum friend Hati, the other way would be to use an FB that links to a DB. In other words - re-code your FC to an FB.

Unhappily I cannot educate you at this moment on how to use a global DB and FB; I hope others will follow-up. But you can have a look at the link: [this is a link to video material]

There is also a way to set M-tags to retain their values. Please see the attached picture.

as dP suggested you could simply use a global_DB where you save your HMI values:

Step 1: create a DB

Step 2: create the tags you need in the DB

Attention! only the values marked as "remanenz" or "retain" keep their values after a reboot.

Step 3: access the tags from your HMI and your FC or any other part of the program

FUP in Main:

SCL:

"HMI_memory".word1 := 16#A5;

HMI:
