Problem on Archiving MultiProject

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	Hello, When I try to archive a multi-project, an error message shows up one of these projects is opened and then can not progress further more. But I checked and sure there is no one access or open it. I even tried to shutdown the ES and repeat the archive procedure and still get the same message. What pieces do I miss? Best regards

This is wat we do: -Delete alle ODBC entries of WinCC in Windows. -Stop the SQL-database service. -Open the last opened WinCC project and close it again. -Eject the networkcable. Usually one of these are usefull. Good Luck, Jaap

Reason for the problem is that a WinCC database of the project could not be detached from SQL Server (maybe pc was powered without properly closing WinCC). The SQL-server has still locked the database files so that they can not be archived. Up to PCS 7 V6.0 SP3 we used sqltool.exe from WinCC\bin to detach all WinCC databases. Since PCS 7 V6.1 we use following procedure: - reboot the PC - start "dbdt.exe -DetachAll" from command-line regards -Freddy-

ars21 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I was told to run: C:\Program Files\SIEMENS\WinCC\Bin\Reset_WinCC.vbs in this situation. we even set this up on the desktop, it happens so often!
