This error says everything, I guess. You have one or more alarms in which connected Message Tag does not exist. Open Alarm Logging Window from WinCCExplorer and export all alarms (or only the ones you know who give the errors) to a txt-file (Message->Export Single Messages ...). Afterwards you can open this txt with Excel and change the missing/wrong message tags or create the non-existing message tags in your project. Brgds. |

Thanks, Exporting the messages to a text file is certainly one option, but what is wrong with the WinCC tool in the excel? Why, whenever I am creating a new excel sheet with the "create project folder" option, not all the message texts be imported into excel. Again, when I am adding the texts to the message tags with the missing texts, a wrong reference is created on the sheet corresponding to the text table, i.e a text present at cell B300 would be referenced on the single messages sheet as =_Texte!$B$1000, which I think is wrong, and its not possible to edit it. This creates the error while trying to write these texts to WinCC project. Please Help! Poker

As long as your WinCC Alarm Logging configuration contains invalid alarms, you'll run into these kind of problems with the Configuration Tool. If you export all messages to a text file, solve the errors first and import them again into WinCC, from that point you will have a working Configuration Tool. |

I exported the alarm tags as you mentioned. And i added few new messages. And when i save the excel file, it is giving some message like all the features are not compatible (see attached image). I dont know what to choose here. I tried with different type text files like comma seperated, delimited. But, it cant be imported back in wincc. It is showing unsuitable format. Please help me with this one. |
