I am using ISO, TCP/IP Network Adaptor, and I am unable to communicate. ANy luck, I tried to take siemens tech support help however still unable to get any solution.

I got the brand new hardware, assembled and then plugged the power and then I wanted to download the hw configuration through ethernet port on CPU as I don't have MPI cable. Then I plugged my ethernet cable and setup the PG PC interface and select my ethernet network adapter. After that as this the first time I am connecting the CPU( there is no IP Address configured in CPU). So I go to the Edit/Add ethernet nodes. Then as per the manual or Siemens tech support when I click on the browse it should automatically show the MAC address of the available devices, However its not showing that, I am not at work so can't send the screenshot now, however if there are further questions I would answer it. Thanks

Avoid splitting up the network with hub distributors, because these devices can only process in half-duplex mode. regards, rit03

Nothing works. I can very well connect to internet or rockwell PLC's through ethernet port. however as per advise of Siemens tech support uninstalled rockwell software/ ethernet drivers and reinstalled it couple of times however it still does not communicate? I know it should not take more than 2 minutes, but its not working. Any other solution?
