Profinet over Microcontroller which has EMAC

Hi All, We are planning to communicate S120 CU 230-2PN with normal Microcontroller which has EMAC interface without using any PLC's. Is It possible? |

Hello ShruGuru; The information in these links could be of interest: - Profinet technology- the easy way to Profinet http://www.profibus.org.pl/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_view&gid=182&Itemid=15 - ICSS EMAC LLD developers guide http://wiki.tiprocessors.com/index.php/ICSS_EMAC_LLD_developers_guide The Industrial SDK release from Texas Instruments enables the use of the PRU-ICSS for Ethernet packet processing. This is used to implement several Industrial Ethernet based protocols including Profinet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT etc., The SDK contains one example for each protocol.
