Profisafe errors - SI CU: Defect in a monitoring channel (6165)

Hello All,

I have Siemens x5 servos running on my machine and I am facing a re-occurring error, i.e.,

1. SI CU: Stop A initiated(9999) / Fault Code-1600 .
2. SI CU:  "Defect in Monitoring channel(6165)/Fault code-1611
3. SI MM: Defect in Monitoring channel(6165)/ Fault code 30611

Short explanation:

1. I have a machine and we are using x5 S120 Servo drives with Profi-safe. And we are struggling with sinamics safety errors as explained above. Machine stops, operator must reset it from HMI. This error appears even if the machine is not producing parts just powered up.
2. Servo is behaving as it get emergency stop signal -> STO functions active, servo in emergency stop.

What was already done:

1. We change Profi-safe communication watchdogs for all axes (time extended from 300 ms to 1200 ms) (see attachment)
2. I did a little investigation in google and found this pdf document from siemens:

I want to know, How I can get rid of this error's?

1.) Select isochronous mode or

2.) With F-hosts, in which the process image update can be deactivated (e.g. S7-400), the address area for the PROFIsafe output data should be removed from the process image update. 

The second is easy. Make sure the address is not within PIP. In S7-300 that was QW0...QW255, you can set this in CPU settings, then define the IO area of the S120 at address higher that that.

Thanks for the reply. 

I forgot to mention important point that is the speed of the servo is changed every 50-100ms for example we are looking at the some parameters on the PLC and varrying the speed of the drive from 70deg/sec to 50/30/5/1/0 deg/sec.

Can this also cause the STO to trigger?

Do you have any document explaining, How to do this ?

I am using CPU317TF-3 PN/DP, I opened the S120 CPU in the hardware configuration and after that I have the tabs 

1. General 
2. Configuration 
3. Isochronus operation => Inside there is check box Synchronize drive equidistant DP cycle activated .. If I deactivate this will it help as the times will be independent ?? Please let me know if it will help us or not?

Hello,

I am also facing the same issues in sinamics G120 vector drive.. i am using this drive for lifter operations.

when the trolley is move from another to the lifter i am facing this issue ..that time lifter drive is in ideal  conditions, this issues are happening occasionally.

somedays we are not getting the issues ..sometime i am getting contionously it is making my days very hectic.

i seen some of the remedies in the help file

they were mentioning to increase the discrepancy time in parameter(P9650/P9850) previously it was 500ms now i changed into 1000ms still i am facing the issue..

if you find the solution please share with me.
