QW - PQW problems

temp2005acc Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	dchartier, I'm new to S7-300. My rig is a CPU315-2PN/DP single rack with AO and AI modules. Especially on QW - PQW problems I did tested both addressing methods to out a value, yet I still can't I get the analog value output except from the one I specify using immediate peripheral output (PQW). Did I miss something here? Haven't I set any options of the module properly? Could you please explain more on how to get analog output/input using QW/IW? LAD examples would be much appreciated. rgrds, temp Splitted from image table of analog I/Os.

By default, analog modules will be set (by HWConfig) outside the input/output image area, say at addresses starting at 256, for your CPU. If you configure the analog module to an address inside the output image table, say QW100, you shopuld be able to use the image table as you would. But may I ask why you would want to do so?
