Dear member There are 2 examples for single loop and multi loop ratio controller in PID modular controller Package which is discussed in manual of modular PID sections 3.5 and 3.6. Figure 3-15 Block Interconnections of RATIOCTR is a good clue, If are familiar with functions of this package. This link for illustrative example of a single loop ratio controller. in the picture the wild flow can be air flow and controlled flow can be gas flow of a burner system. Gas flow is controlled by a control valve and the PID control the ratio of air and gas mixture with set point as set ratio. To do tuning, I suggest put the PID controller on manual, change the manipulated value and record ratio as the target value. This curve is called process reaction and there are lots of methods (rate of rise) to do tuning by this curve. Regards |
