Hello hello, Thank you for that, and i also have another question : I created an OB10 with SCL code, I tried to read and extract the date using dt := DATE_AND_TIME().DATE to make sure my code executed in the right time but my program isn't recognizing this function. Also, another question: In my project, i already extracted the local time #CurrentTime but when i try to use it in SCL OB10, it doesn't recognize the variable. What's wrong with that ? Thank you a looot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

No. There is no point for me to answer your questions. Playing a Q&A game is not going to compete well with your haste. You want a quick start, then have a look at the open source library given by Siemens. Within is a function that does what you want, without using any special OBs. Use as a black box or study the content. Focus on how the time specific data type is evaluated, if you do study the code. As primer, consider watching some video presented here: The TIA Portal Tutorial Center (videos). Focus on the ones that explains about DBs. Think of the tags coming from memory concepts and DBs as if simplified objects. Good luck. |

The library I have spoken about before but failed to add earlier.. Library of general functions (LGF) for SIMATIC STEP 7 (TIA Portal) and SIMATIC S7-1200 / S7-1500 |
