Read and write values to MVI56

i was able to read and write values to MVI56 Master module using the I and Q registers.

Just wanted to know, do we use any SFC14 & SFC15 to read write values in this case. as we do not have any master configuration in the Siemens Hardware, its just treated as DP salve the CPU315?

Hello again,

It doesn't matter that master is configured in your current project.PROFIBUS-DP is a open and deterministic.It means when  master and slave are configured accordingly , all request by master will be answered properly by slave via PROFIBUS telegrams.

To use SFC14/15 you need consistent data , the volume should be greater than 4 bytes( or 3 byte) and it is considered as a whole.See the attached file.When you configure slave like that,Same setting should be selected in master.
