Read current text from a Text list (WinCC 7.5.1)

There is no "Text" field in the Text List object With VBS you can read the actual OutputValue and also the complete list of assignments: Dim objTextList Dim strAssignments, strValue Set objTextList = ScreenItems("TextList1") strValue = objTextList.OutputValue strAssignments = objTextList.Assignments HMIRuntime.Trace strValue & vbNewline HMIRuntime.Trace strAssignments & vbNewline When you have this, you can write code to filter the actual assignment text based on the actual output valuie. As far as I can remember, directly reading the current assignment text is not possible. Some not documented and not supported VBS code/methods might exist, for example: 'TextList.AddAssignment i, SequenceNumber, Text objTextList.AddAssignment 6, 6, "assign = 6" The above code works in runtime but is not documented and also is lost after stopping runtime.
