Goodmorning, You can use SFC1: READ_CLK to read out the CPU time. Normally, the CPU will receive the time via the plant bus. The CPU is then set as slave and the time is coming from an external clock (SICLOCK or else). The time is sent to the plantbus to the OS servers and CPU. The OS servers will distribute the time to the clients. You can however choose if you want an OS server to distribute the time along the bus. In case of multiple OS servers, the first one to be active in runtime is the time master. If that one fails, another OS server is set as time master. You can however use a separate OS server that is set as time master. There are multiple options, but it all comes down to that the CPU is set as slave, which will receive the time from the plant bus (through a CP card or not).
