Sorry i misunderstud you. But if the sensor maximum measure is 40m (20mA). Then if you use the same sensor for a watter level of only 20m then it shoul transmit 12mA. It's simple math. You have a range of 16mA for 40m...how much for 20m? 16/2=8mA, 8mA+4mA (offset)=12mA. Hello, I believe the mA is not that important, you need to know how it's represented in the PLC as Int. Here is how to convert the signal into meters(or whatever you need) How can you scale analog values with S7-200 in conjunction with CPU224XP and expansion modules EM 231, EM 232 and EM 235?
