Replace 414-2 CPU, does it affect the other modules connected

Does it affect all the other module connected or anything else that has to be added? Does it affect all the other module connected or anything else that has to be added? Normally F capable CPUs are able to process standard user programs along with F applications , provide standard functionality and interfaces.If you want to add F-capability to your automation system , you need to add extra modules (safety-related) and F-Libraries plus runtime software packages to handle those applications. Points that you should take care would be memory requirement , scan rate of standard and F blocks and finally the overall cycle time of CPU. I hope it helps, hdhosseini
