Misunderstanding is caused by Siemens not being able to work out one consistent naming for resolutions. DAC result is always a signed integer (no matter if a module is uni- or bipolar). And in case of modules names, a sign bit is always counted. But obviously it is not a case here, i.e. in the first table resolution of 15 bits refers to a 16 bit module. Just to make our lives easier... |

Thank you so much would you pls elaborate it more? giving an example can be a good solution. is it true my deduction? for 12 bit resolution and 0-10 input voltage: (10-0)/27648=0.00036V the increment: 0.00036×8= 0.0029 V
