Hello, I'm sorry that I still don't understand. Does that mean I'm not able to define only some tag address as retentive? If I go in the retain memory I can for example only write 5000 bytes from MB0 and this makes that all my tags are retained. When I ONLY would like to retain following address, how can I configure that? I read some thing that this need to be done in the DB's but I can not find how to do that and I can not find in any DB one of the Tags/Address stated above. I search on internet but after 1 hour of read through the documents I still don't have an answer. I'm a new TIA user, sorry if I ask stupid questions. Thank you in advance for any helpfull support ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, Use retentive DB. U can use rewire function Or find n replace to successfully replace memory addresses by DB addresses. This is simplest solution. Or make all M area retentive & do not use rest of M area addresses.
