I have an RF685R connected to a 2nd ethernet port on my laptop at 192.168.0.6 I'm trying to communicate with it using the XML protocol at TCP port 10001. But I can't seem to open up a TCP connection to that port
If I run nmap there's only one open port - 80, which does work for the web GUI:
Why isn't the port open? Note I don't have the .Net sample library, which I have used before. This unit is a loaner and I'm working on an application. For this activity I only want to get the RFID events so a couple of different XML messages should be enough. |

Hi, is that reader connected and controlled by a S7-CPU? |
