Hi all It seems to be a joke that it's not possible to rotate a symbol in TIA Portal v13. I've tried to rotate the symbol out of the TIA, but it lost resolution and waste a lot of time. I can't believe yet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello Autogen, Well, it is not a joke. You are able to use the "Animations" that are available. There is also lots of graphical objects in the "Graphics" toolbox, use them at your advantage.
I use "Gimp" which is a image manipulation program and .tif are the best image extension I found yet. If you lost resolution, then you have done something wrong somewhere. The "Alpha channel" permits you to remove the background and make it invisible. Best regards, Hugo |

Dear AutoGen_991924, you can use TIA openess and the rotation tool of the HMI Toolbox. Look at this hyperlink - Chapter: Simplified Engineering: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/106226404 To your other problem: It is not possible to change the default graphic editor (MS-Paint). You have to use a other graphic program to design your graphics if you don't want to use MS-Paint. With best regards rh1990 |
