Hello Mark,

Siemens brand:
1. Software - Step5

STEP 5 V7.2 Basic package for PG 7xx and PCs	Order No.
Single license with authorization diskette	6ES5894-0MA04

2. Hardware - PC with serial port. Order Nr.6ES5 734-1BD20
or Siemens PG Order Nr. 6ES5 734-2BF00 or PC with only USB look at http://www.cdelektronik.de/products/S5_PG-USB/s5_pg-usb.html

Of course necessary cable you can prepare by yourselves. You can find pins assignment here in forum. (I don't recommend this).

Also all this staff you can find in different brands. About prices contact with Siemens office in your plase for more details.
