S5 95U-SINEC L2

Hi All,

I have just replaced a 6SE5 95U, that does not have a SINEC L2 plug or a BF Led indicator, with a 6SE5 095-8MD01 which, does have a SINEC L2 plug and BF Led. We are not using, (do not need) the SINEC L2 plug for this application. The BF Led light is on all the time. Is there a way to Deactivate the BF Led indication? So it will stay Off all the time.

you should look at the DB1, there is the configuration DB for the S5-95U.
Here can you find the manual for S5-95U-Sinec L2.

Please look at chapter 4 and the follow.

In my opinion are is the configuration of the DB1 not correct (standard configuration),
