Dear all recently i convert a s5 program with symbol Does anyone who can tell me how can i convert the symbol of S5 to S7 Symbol ??? |

Dear hefeng_05 the S5 converter converts the S5 symbol table to S7 format for you as long as you pay heed to teh following: 1.) The S5 symbol table must be the "ZO.SEQ" file (if you only have the "ZO.INI" you can use Step 5 to re-create the SEQ file from it, to be found under "Management" > "Assignment Lists" > "Convert INI --> SEQ" in Step 5). 2.) The S5 symbol table must be located in the same directory as your S5 program file. 3.) The S5 symbol table must have the same name as your S5 program file (e.g if your S5 program name isPLCSPSst.s5dthen the symbol name must be PLCSPSzo.seq). After you ran the conversion the S7 symbol file will be called PLCSPSs7.seq (as per above example) which you can now simply importinto an empty Step7emtpy symbol table (select "import" fromthe Symbol tabel drop down menue).
