Hi Micheal, Please take the advise of huggy_d1 seriously. There are examples available on Siemens' website that is worth while looking at. The more homework/research you do, the easier the task. I very much like that you have made some labrotory experiments already. That is a good start - thank you for sharing this results. If you are willing.. would you take one step back with me? Before coding anything, the system layout should be planned. The best planning is done in drawings. I encourage you to make a drawing of the system to show how it works. Imagine yourself we are remote partners and I need to do the documentation of your project. Also.. * make a type of diagram that indicates what information is flowing into/out of each of the devices and how the devices are connected. * make a flow diagram to show how the decision making processes should work. The purpose of all this is to forget for the moment the detailing of the program ans consentrate first on the "what is done how" in the big picture. If you have the outline, it should be more easy to colour in between the lines. Sincere greetings. w Added note: In the detail stage (not now!) we will aim to something like the questions in..
