Paul Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	The 224 XP comes with 2 analog inputs and 1 analog output built into the CPU. What are the addresses for these I/O points? Appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

neo Posts: 264 Rating: (59)	Hello Paul, AI: AIW0 and AIW2 AO: AOW0 (AOW0 is reserved) Attention: If you don´t use a CPU224XP with integratet Analog Inputs but e.g. the 'normal' CPU224 and a SM231 extension module, the Adresses for this module starts at AIW0 !! Denilson Pegaia Platinum Member Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 4351 Rating: (1452)	Just a small correction: The Analog addresses have steps of two bytes, so the first Analog Input has address AIW 0 and the second has address AIW 2, etc (there’s no AIW1).

neo Posts: 264 Rating: (59)	Hello Husan, Yes, the 8bit - onboard-potentiometer are SMB28/29. But the CPU224XP additionally comes with the option for hardwired analog signals: 2 Analog-Inputs and 1 Analog-output This is what we were talking about. best regards
