S7-200 CPU226 and TD200

mac_g3 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello All. I'm French, and my English is bad .... I have a system with S7-200 cpu 226 and small text display TD200. I upload the program to my computer with Microwin 4.0 SP5, and i want to edit the messages displayed. When i open the data block, the datas is show in hexadecimal ... and i don't know can edit the strings, because the text display wizard don't recognize the beginning of the data block. When i compare the computer programm and the PLC, all is OK. My question is : -How to edit the data block ...? ... if in first ... i don't have the source code ... and i don't know the number version used by the programmer to build the PLC programm. ( first, i don't have the source code, because the PLC is before programming by other person, and the plant of the employee is now closed .... then, i don't can get technical support .... and i need to modifiy the text messages) I post the upload file from the PLC. If anyone can open the file, recompile, anc ca open the wizard to midify text messages, then post the file on the forum. Any helps is greatly appreciated. Greetings from France, Stéphane. Today, i call Siemens support service, and the serviceman tell me the datas is shown in the hexadecimal... and need to convert to ASCII code. Then i compare with a other good program file .. to see how the file is ... (the strings ...40 characters,between "quote" ...begin and end charaters delimiter. And with function hextoascii, i convert the hexadecimal code .. to ascii code ... and is OK .... After building the entire data block, i compare with the plc ... and display not equal .... due to change of the format type of the new block built by me . After rechecking (traduct of strings .... and the location for the embedded values), i connect to the plc .. and i download only my data block .... I test the machine ... and the display and data edit values is OK ... After new plc comparison with my PC , now all is equal ... and all is OK ! Now , i can edit the strings to the TD200 .. no problem !!! I send the file .. corrected by me ..with the help of the Siemens serviceman. I send, if you are interested, the corrected project and a little program made by me with Borland Delphi 6, to convert hexadeciamal code to ascii code. Greetings from France. Stéphane.
