HI All, I have attached my attempts upto now and the associated lenze document. I have some s7 experience but very little and i have a project where a hmi takes a position in mm as a desired destination. The FC1 contains the Lenze function block FB414 to which i am communicating with the lenze servo. I am achieving positioning but by means of hook and crook, by using the fb423 to set the maximum INT values, to which the 20.0 value is scaling the revs/pitch of the ball screw to motor is driving. entering in the FB414: 385 DB443 2 Drive enable = 1 profileset = word = 3 (postioning) Speed overide =50% Position set =100.0 units On changing the state of the Profile start from 0>>1 the drive starts positioning to 100.0units. one would expect changing the desired postion from say 100.0 to 500.0. then repeating the change of signal state of profile start from 0>1 would allow for the drive to position from 100>500. but it takes a homing sequence (which sets the current position to 0) profileset = word 1 then enable/diabling the FB423. then changing the profile start from0>>1 the drive moves from 0 to its set value. I would really appreciate any help on using this function block from any plc/drive guys out here. Regards AttachmentArchive and PDF.zip (672 Downloads) |

As far as I know Lenze 8400 is a standard VFD, not a servo. Lenze servo line has numbers like 9300 or 9400. http://www.ctiautomation.net/Lenze-8400-Drives.htm |
