Hello AjayG if you are not afraid to use some non-Siemens gear and have either 115U or 135/155U I/O racks, you can also convert these to DP Slave I/O station (and as such of course use them with S7-300's) via the IM 306DP Slave module. Note that you will be limited to usage of standard I/O cards in the S5 racks (e.g. you can NOT useFM's, CP's, IP's etc.), but I hope this helps anyhow. |
