S7 300 memory card

A 300 with MMC has no battery, all retentive data is written to MMC The partnumber you mention is a S7-400 RAM memory card, to backup the program, if battery is empty the program will be loaded from this card and data will be loaded with initial values, Regards, Marcjan

See this FAQ: Which memory cards can you use with a S7-300 CPU? There are all cards for old and new types CPU. To keep your actual data you have to copy actual data to initial data, otherwise CPU restarts with wrong (initial) data after power return. Regards, Marcjan
