Dear z0de, I think you could use SFC51 to read information about the system. See this manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1214574 Chapter 13.3 will explain the function. Then you can use Simatic Net (OPC server) to get data out of the CPU into a PC. And Excel might be an OPC client. With Visual Basic you can put data on the right place. Good information, I am actually using Borland Delphi for the interface, which is very similar to VB. If i have any questions I'll be sure to come back here. |
