s7-312c to TP170A hmi

finianm Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I have an S7-312C connected to TP170A HMI. My PLC program which operates a machine, is fully controlled by the HMI (ie start/stop and settings). When commissioning I find that I'm constantly switching between MPI programming lead from PC and the MPI lead tothe HMIto restart machine. Then when the machine is runningI have to switch lead again to monitor the PLC program. When i find that program needs an adjustment it back to switching leads again. Is there a methodto be able to program PLC and thenmonitor PLC while still having the HMIconnected? This wouldsave an incredible amount of time. ( I have used an S7-226 before which has two ports so this problem didnt presentitself in this case butthe problem would arise in a S7-222)
