can anyone tell me if the S7-SCL programmig language can deal with files (like Pascal or C/C++) and if so, what kind of format has the file. thanks |

Hi Seby, S7-SCL likes the most on Pascal, but is not the same. See the getting strted for some more information: S7-SCL V5.3 for S7-300/400 Getting Started or from the handbook: S7-SCL V5.3 for S7-300/400 |

If you've ever used the PSPad editor (great program! -- www.pspad.com -- freeware, but donate if you can!), here's a syntax file I use for highlighting SCL files. I find it very useful to edit a SCL source block offline and then import into the project Source.
