To control failsafe I/Os, you would need a failsafe S7-300 CPU, such as the S7-315F-2DP ( 6ES7315-6FF04-0AB0) along with the appropriate Failsafe program license for S7-Distributed Safety v5,3 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
