set the "Use manual PID parameter settings" to manual and using sReti_Mode to 2 for "tuning" and 3 for "automatic" doesn´t work

I have implemented the PID with PID Parameters being set from a touchscreen. What is more, the user can initiate Start-Up and / or Running Tuning, and copy the results to the touchscreen.

It all works quite niceley, however I am seeking information on two elements of the technological object that I can see....in the sPid_Calc area...

i_CtrlTypeTIR

Which have the coresponding comments...
tuning rule for SUT (0-CHR PID,1-CHR PI)
tuning rule for TIR (0-2-A PID auto/fast/slow,3-ZN PID,4-ZN PI,5-ZN P)

I wish to limit the amount of change the PID_Compact can create on the manipulated variable (CV). The application is a pressure loop for an extruder, and I feel that if one starts an auto-tune, the procedure itself may cause the head pressure to become too large - in which case I will stop the extruder to protect the mechanics.

(I have a drive wired up on my desk that simulates the extruder, and it gets tossed around quite a bit during the test.)

The two items mentioned above seem to describe different tuning methods, but there is no documentation on them and what they actually do.

If these are not what I am looking for - are there any other elements to the PID_Compact that will allow me to autotune while limiting the amplitude and/or slew rate of the manipulated variable. ?

(Even if it means less that optimum tuning results)
