Setting GearBox parameters

For example if I set numerator +1 , denumerator -1 and syncronization direction negative it works.(slave follows master and moves in negative direction) but in other conditions there is no movement at slave axis. But I want to do that: While master moves in negative direction slave follows it and goes to negative direction. I tried everything numerator = +1 denumerator= +1 syncronization direction=Negative numerator = -1 denumerator= -1 syncronization direction=Negative numerator = +1 denumerator= -1 syncronization direction=Negative Attachment parameter.JPG (1166 Downloads)

ThomasD Posts: 39 Rating: (9)	Dear pandora303, with the numerator/denominator ratio will be fixed the gear direction. That means: 1/1 or -1/-1 = 1 à Following axis follows in same direction -1/1 or 1/-1 = -1 à Following axis follows in opposite direction Synchronizing direction means the direction of the following axis when synchronizing to the master axis. That means for your case: Master axis moves negative; Following axis follows in the same direction. à You must select a gear ratio 1/1 or -1/-1 and synchronizing direction = negative.
