The new SIMATIC IPC MD-57A has been released for sale. This is the most modern Siemens programming device. However, I cannot tell you anything about the availability. And of course you have to consider your requirements. If you need the ability to program S5 PLCs, you will have to get one of the last SIMATIC Field PG M6 that Siemens has in stock.

Much also depends on the purpose for which you seek it. I got it years ago, but because I work with constant movement to countless sites, I bitterly regretted it. If, on the other hand, you keep it only at one site all the time, but you need a rugged, full-featured device with all the useful communication ports, the argument becomes interesting.
However, I find it in all cases unwieldy, extremely heavy, and not immune to the damage any laptop can suffer from working in the field.
So I would answer: from none to the newest.
