Siemens PCS7 Project Archiving duing Runtine

Nitesh Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I like to archive the Simatic PCS7 7.0 SP1 project during runtime.I don't want to close my WinCC runtime but it ask to close all active process before taking the backup. Can any body help me on this.

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Nitesh, I am afraid thismay not be possible. Do you need to do this because your ES is also your server? Try activating WinCC RT from WinCC explorer (not from Simatic Manager) and try archiving after closing the SM (and project) once. One more thing to try is create a duplicate of the WinCC project (using project duplicator) which will act as the server project. Regards
