henrikhhansen Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	What kind of cable can be used to connect the pressure transmitter (PDIT) DSIII to my analog input card? A 2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire cable? Can the DSIII be powered through the signal cable, or does it need external cable? Thanks

(partnumber) What is the partnumber of the transmitter? There are more than 1 i think. From this manual i understand it's a 2 wire sensor, if you have a analog card that can power 2 wire sensors you need 2 wire And ground. Regards, Marcjan

DavieS Posts: 64 Rating: (2)	The DSIII is a standard 24vDC 2 wire device, so no external power is required. 300V shielded tray cable is typically used North America, the wire gauge is up to you but loop resistance shouldn't exceed 750 ohms. Belden #9318 is a good example.
