SIMATIC PC 547C POSSIBLE TO INSTALL MS OFFICE

Hi all,

              we have simatic rack pc, the given below specification.

MODEL: SIAMTIC IPC 547C

ORTER NO: 6AG4104-1CB12-0EX0

SERIAL NO: SVPC1850584

WINDOW USED : WINDOW 7 ULTIMATE

My doubt

1. if it's possible to install Microsoft office like that ( excel,word,power point)

2. and also PDF995 printer driver possible to install.

Because I m not familiar in simatic pc.

this should be no problem.
The IPC have the same OperationSystem like a Standard PC System, only the HW is special for industrial use.

                       Thanks for your immediate reply.

I try to install PDF 995 printer driver in simatic pc system that time THE HANDLE IS INVALID popup message appear in screen.

only for checking purpose

 that same setup file I try to install another system (normal we are using system). that time that file open for ready to install but already install in that system but lower version.( for your information).more than two cup check same result.

But

My doubt is

Why that popup message display in the SIMATIC PC only?

what I need to be check?

If any protection setting is there in SIMATIC PC, for new software installation?

For better understanding, here I attached file regarding my issue.

can it be that you missed some Windows Updates for the installation?
Is the IPC uptodate with the latest Operation System Updates?

Which Windows 7 Ultimate you have exactly ? SP1 ? X64 or x86?

Why the program is in 2 different location ? (Program Files and Program Files (x86)?

                            The program file(x86) is in normal we are using system. the last post we check that setup file(pdf install file)  open in  simatic pc and normal using pc.

here I attached only the simatic pc system details and system c: file

In that simatic pc only one program file is there.

Hmmm,

i have not found the program on the internet which have the same structur like this in you screen, so i can't test it.

Normaly i start the setup.exe files of programs not in the Program Files folder , only from Downloads or external storage.

                     Our SIMATIC PC don't have internet access. so not able to install (or) open in DOWNLOAD file.

   First I download that pdf995 printer drive(setup.exe) from internet, that file save to external source(like pendrive) I try in to install through pendrive same message pop uped.

   After that that PDF995 file save in C ----> program file        that also same message pop uped.

The above two trail is failed in my side.

so there after,

   my first post asked if it's possible to install MS OFFICE and PDF PRINTER DRIVE,

in SIMATIC PC. Because I don't have knowledge about SIMATIC PC.

Here I attached file for open the setup.exe file through external storage(pendrive).

In the internet i find nothing with the structur in you pictures! Only a single setup.exe which install the drivers.

 The above link I download the file, that time only one  setup.exe file download.

that only one setup.exe file i try to open it SIMATIC PC invalid message pop uped.

So i check the NORMAL USING PC i found C ---> program file --->PDF995 ---> setup.exe. this file open time same invalid message pop uped.

The above all work, if it's wrong in my side. pls guide me correct way to install the PDF PRINTER DRIVE and MS OFFICE. i need to be Installed.

if any procedure is there for installing?

I Download the Files pdf995s.exe and ps2pdf995.exe from the website

copy it to my local C: drive and run the programs -> work, without any problem

Can it be that the IPC Installation is defective or something like that?
