simodrive 611 power problem

From the details you provided, please check below points.

1. Servo motor 1FK6100 is with resolver feedback. 611U control card having encoder 1Vpp interface. Question is how motor resolver feedback is interfaced with control card? Does it has any in line converter? Please check.

2. You mentioned encoder 1Vpp is interfaced, (encoder part number is not clear) Here I presume it is external encoder, & interfaced to second encoder interfacing port on 611U card. Please confirm.

3. You have not specified type of controller. Is it Sinumerik or PLC controller? what is application? Positioning or speed control? Please check.

In general, loud humming noise from motor is indication either due to load or variation in setpoint. Depending upon active feed back system, please check motor resolver, encoder connection, proper out put etc. etc. If you have same control card for another axis, try by swapping it. Check motor winding resistance, motor cable, LT module etc. etc. Check if motor/axis brake release, i.e. if motor has integral brake, check by providing external supply to brake & observe if any change in sound.If it is Sinumerik control, check if Contour or standstill alarm is triggered. If possible try by decoupling motor from load & check. If everything above is good/OK, check lubrication & try by adjusting drive/axis gain values.

Before I can help you, you need make sure 2 things:

But 6SN1118-1NH01-0AA0 2 AXIS POSITIONING MODE SIN/COS 1Vpp --is Encoder feedback control, It is not possible as I know to connect to this motor --check both motor and card, send picture

#2--You have 2 axis machine /system. you did not say which axis have problem or you did not know or both ? what kind axis, such as vertical axis?

Have you checked points no 1 & 2 in my previous reply?

What is your observation? Which is CPU? Is drive setpoint varing/fluctuating?

Can you attach electrical wiring of drive & PLC?

I checked your pictures. You made mistake , 

Truth is You have 1FKxx motor resolve feedback 1P and the control card 1NJ-0AAx would match your motor.

for troubleshooting I suggest you disconnect mechanical coupler of the motor----making motor free.

then if you have JOG function test it , then continue run the machine simulation the real production--

(may reach the higher speed ). you will know the problem is drive (LT 50A module or something ) or motor.
