Simotion D425 communication with S71200

Dear Experts,

I use SIMOTION D425-2 PN/DP and PLC S7-1215C.

I would like to change bit,int or real between S7-1215C and SIMOTION D425-2 PN/DP.

How to do that ?

use one of them as a i-device and the other as PN Controller than you can exchange data with the i-Device transferareas

Can I use SIMOSIM and PLCSim to simulate io-device ?

Not sure about Simosim.

If the PLC and SImotion are in the same project, then it is trivial to do that communication with I-DEVICE.

If they are not in the same project, then you have to export one of them as gsdml file and import in the other project, and it will become trivial again.

At the SIOMTION is it necessary to has real Input/Output to use IO-Device ?

io-devices have is own Transferareas (Input/Output) which is used for transfer
