Friends, is it possible to simulate Profinet communications between an S7 300 and an S7 400? I have read and tried many ways of communication between these 2 PLCs, but I have not managed to get any good results. I have done simulations using SFB12 "BSEND" and SFB13 "BRCV" or SFB8 "USEND" and SFB9 "URCV" or SFB14 "GET" and SFB15 "PUT" I have tried these 3 ways and I have not had any good results, I want to do this simulated work, because my network is big, and I must have everything ready when I have space to download the program, but I am worried that communication does not work in this way. My only alternative that I have left, is that the PLC SIM does not support this type of communication to be able to simulate it will this be possible? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello, look here: TCP PLCSim Issue If you mean real Profinet I/O I think this isn't working in this PLCSim, but maybe other guys gives better info. |

Hi, if you want to simulate over CP it´s not possible. Please check the following FAQ: What is the difference between S7-PLCSIM and a "real" automation system?There you will find SFB/SFC which will work with integrated interface of PlC with PLCSim. Regards, Towome |
