Hi All, Currently have a project where I have the following setup HMI is programmed on TIA WinCC Advanced V13 and is HMI physically in my office, The HMI is connected to an Ethernet switch through Port X1. This Ethernet switch is also connected to my programming laptop. The PLC is programmed in Simatic V5.5, the PLC is not in my office so I have been using the PLC simulator that comes with Simatic When I run the Runtime in TIA in conjunction with the PLC simulator for Simatic I can make changes and view them on the HMI simulator. I have setup a "Device Proxy" in TIA to allow for this. I can download programs to the HMI using the Ethernet option and I have setup network settings on my laptop & in TIA as the attached screenshots What I would like to be able to do is to see the change I am making on the PLC simulator change the required inputs/outputs on the HMI AttachmentScreenshots.pdf (198 Downloads) |

Hello, if you like to communicate between the both simulations, you'll need to change the pg/pc interface to plcsim. K!ke |
