SINAMICS G120 in PCS 7?

 Profinet or Profibus shouldn't care. The procedure to configure the G120 should be the same except HW-Config. There you have to choose DP connection and not PN, and that's it.

I asked the plant they told me the Sinamics G120 module is CU240. Could this simple manual:

for CU230P-2DP, using standard telegram 1 (no special function block/library on PCS7) still be applicable for it? 

What are their difference?

I finally understood what sir Mark is saying. So it seems FbDrive (Telegram 20) or DriveES (Telegram 532) is needed for addtional data such as current and torque? 

So on PCS7 V6 only DriveES is the option, FbDrive cannot be installed?

Actually I can't seem to find documentation for DriveES on PCS7 v6, even the documentation on the link above is for V7.1 and V8? 

I downloaded the GSD for the CU240 and try on HWconfig, there's Telegrams 1, 20 and 352. 

Does this mean I can config for instance Telegram 20 with 6 words input (3rd word for current) but won't be able to receive motor current by monitoring (direct address) the third input word (without using FbDrive or DriveES)?

yes, you don't Need any library to directly read the telegrams

I only found (6SL324x-0BAxx-xPAx) in the H.W library
