Sinamics S120 drive error

ArunVasudevan Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi all, We are using a Sinamics S120 dive for one of our packaging machines, with PM340 power module,CU310-2 DP control unit &1FK7034-5AF21-UAO servo motor. Last week there was a power surge in the system which resulted in damaging its SMPS and . PLC MODULE (SIEMENS – SIMATIC S76ES7 138-4CB11-0AB0). We had replaced the above mentioned components, but the servi controller control panel RDY LED is in STEADY RED state (At least one fault is present in this component), with COM LED also showing STEADY RED at times (Cyclic communication has been interrupted.) . Kindly advice what could be the possible cause for this error. Is it some problem with communnication from my S7-200 plc or is my compact flash card corrupted? Rgds

ArunVasudevan Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi Christoph, The main problem is that our supplier have not provided us with any softwares and also any PLC programmes, and our S120 is not equipped with a B.O.P too. So as if now the only identification is through the front panel LED's Thanks, Arun Vasudevan

At the moment o looks that the communication between the PLC and the drive is not working. Can be that any cable is damaged, or the PLC project is not loaded etc. In such a case you should contact your supplier for help. Regards Christoph

Meanwhile, could u also tell us whether there are any chances for the flash card to get corrupted. As our supplier have asked us to check whether the software is still on the CF card using a card reader. Using a card reader will give an effective solution??? Thanks, Arun Vasudevan
