mr.reza Posts: 94 Rating: (0)	hello we have some kind of sinamics s120 in our line my guestion is when we have a control unit cu320 with 4 drives (all is the same type) how can control unit or Startersoftware know each driver beacuse there is no adress or dip switch if i want to change a drive what sould i do thanks

Another way is to set the parameter p918 to a unique value on each drive. If all cu320 have the same DP-adress so Starter can't identify the seperat drives and work with the same project on each CU. The CU320 is addressed. The Drive-Cliq is responsible to link between CU and other components. All the components connected via Drive-Cliq have an electronic rating. The CU320 contains a database with the electronic rating plates and during booting the CU recognizes the components connected via Drive-Cliq. So, it's not necessary to input rating plate data input manually. The electronic rating plate comprises the following data: - componente type; - order number; - manufacturer; - hardware version; - serial number. If you change the drive for the same MFLB,keep the same connections of Drive-Cliq.Maybe you need to change the parameter "comparative quality" from high to medium (p9908). p9908 = 0: Compare component type, order number, hardware version and serial number = 1: Compare component type and order number = 2: Compare component type = 3: Compare component class I hope this help ! regards.
