Sinamics V20, 4-20mA drive output problem

Do a factory reset:

1. p0010 = 30
2. p0970 = 21

Input your motor data, set Cn002.

Set p0003 = 3, p1000 = 7 (Analog setpoint 2)

Check if it runs when you put a high signal on DI1.

If it doesn't, check if you have really selected Cn002 (press M until the LED starts blinking, press M shortly - it should display connection macro, the one you have selected is the one with "-" (minus sign) next to it)

If it's not the case than check your connections.

Make sure that the green LED is NOT blinking

You can check your control word in r0054, if bit00 = 0 then you're not sending ON command

About setting AI to 4 - 20 mode you need to:

1. Set your AI to work in current mode with monitoring, for AI2: P0756[1] (in001) = 3
2. Scaling: 0% for 4 mA, P0757[1] = 4, P0758[1] = 0
3. Scaling: 100% for 20 mA, P0759[1] = 20, P0760[1] = 0
4. Set your deadband: P0761 = 4 mA

Now, whenever there is less than 4/2 = 2 mA on AI2, V20 will trip

 Hello Guys,

I am holding an Issue. I have configured drive output for 4-20mA. I have receiving mA up to the TB, but when I connect to the ET200SP Analog input module, it gives its full count of 32767(20mA). I have configured the module for Two wire 4-20mA also I have checked the connections. It feels strange. Kindly help me to get out of this issue.

What kind of signal do you output? frequency? Check it in P0771[0] ([0] for AI1, [1] for AI2, should be = 21 for actual frequency).

Check r0774[0]/[1] - Actual analog output value - check if it's consistent with your readings

If P0771 = 21 then check r0021 - Actual filtered frequency, if it's the same as p2000 (reference frequency) and you're getting 20mA then everything is correct

Now its working fine. The analog output to be connected to 4 Wire analog module.
